The Capital Theater is owned by the Olympia Film Society, a non-for-profit organization. The Olympia Film Society is a wonderful quirky society that anybody can join. They promote the arts, from movies to plays. Though, it is the Olympia Film Society’s promotion of music which stood out as I roamed Downtown Olympia. They feature musicals and concerts, and the wide array of music which they showcase is astounding.
From Night of the Living Tribute Bands to Through the Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland, the Capital Theater is a center of music of all types.
The Capital Theater is a beautiful, glitzy theater, which fits right in downtown Olympia. It is a place that you can go to get entertained and informed. It shows movies, is a stage for plays, but concerts and musicals of all types also get recognized. A great promoter of arts, I am aiming to investigate the music culture perpetuated by the Olympia Film Society. The mission to explore the Olympia Film Society's music scene begins this weekend, when I go and attend Through the Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland.
To be continued. :) Nice touch. Looking forward to reading how Alice in Wonderland turned out!
ReplyDeletePersonal opinion: I never enjoy reading white text on a dark background.
Good start. I hope to hear more about the turn out. I agree about the white text though. It's a little harsh on the eyes.
ReplyDeleteGood start here, I can't wait to hear more about the event that you attended. I'm glad that you were able to fix the format here. Good job. :)
